1. Who We Are

enza LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (Smart Village, Building B12, KM 28 Cairo-Alexandria Road, Cairo 11511, Egypt) runs the enza payments infrastructure platform at enzaglobal.org. Through one REST API, we provide card acceptance, clearing, settlement, and AI-based fraud detection to banks and fintechs across Africa. We handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Contact: [email protected].

2. What Information We Collect

The Company gathers personal information in two settings: from bank and fintech client representatives integrating the enza API, and from visitors to the enzaglobal.org marketing and documentation site.

API client contacts: For API access requests, account registration, or inquiries from a bank, fintech, or payment service provider, we collect the contact's name, work email, job title, and organization. We also collect the client organization's technical configuration and API credentials.

API usage and operational data: The enza platform records API call metadata such as request times, endpoint identifiers, response codes, and error events. We use these records to operate the platform, monitor fraud detection model performance, and debug. The Company is not the data controller for individual cardholder transaction data moving through the payment pipeline. Banks and fintechs integrating enza remain controllers for their cardholders and must provide their own cardholder privacy notices under applicable payment scheme rules and local law.

Website visitors: Browsing enzaglobal.org results in collection of standard browser and device details, page usage metrics, and information entered in integration inquiry or contact forms, including name, work email, organization, and message. Details about cookies and analytics appear in our Cookie Policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to run and improve the enza API platform, set up and administer client accounts, support bank and fintech integrations, assess platform performance and fraud detection accuracy, answer integration inquiries and contact submissions, and satisfy legal and regulatory duties under Egyptian law and applicable African banking regulations.

We do not sell personal information or use client API data or individual cardholder transaction records to train machine learning models without a separate, explicit written client agreement.

4. Sharing

We disclose information to contracted third-party processors acting for us, such as cloud providers hosting enza and anonymized analytics providers for the marketing site. Where applicable law or valid legal process requires it, we disclose information to regulators, including the Central Bank of Egypt and other African financial regulators. We do not provide client data to third parties for their own marketing.

5. Retention and Security

API client account data remains available throughout the service relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to support dispute resolution and regulatory audits applicable to payment processors. Website contact inquiries are kept for up to two years. Anonymized website analytics data is retained for up to 13 months.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and recurring security reviews. The Company follows applicable payment industry security standards relevant to its role in the payment chain.

6. Your Rights

Where local law permits, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Send requests to [email protected]. We usually respond within 30 days. Bank and fintech client representatives should send cardholder data requests to the bank or fintech managing that customer relationship, because the Company acts as a data processor in that setting.

7. Cookies

Our Cookie Policy explains how enzaglobal.org uses cookies and similar technologies.

8. Changes and Contact

We will show material policy changes through an updated "Last updated" date at the page's top. Significant changes may also be emailed to API client contacts.
